Will you edit my photographs? What do you use to edit?

Yes, I retouch all images before you receive them. I use Photoshop CS5 to edit my images to reflect my photography style.

 

Do you have a studio?

No, at this point in time I do not have a studio but it is definitely something I will aquire in the near future! Other than newborn and boudoir sessions, your photoshoot will take place on-location. This location is of your choice; whether it be a place that is very important to you or a location that makes for a very fun, interesting backdrop!

 

When do you usually schedule outdoor on-location photoshoots?

I will always schedule outdoor sessions early in the morning, or just after sunset. This will ensure there is no harsh direct sunlight during your session. Overcast is the most ideal weather for an on-location session.

 

What are the details of a newborn session?
Upon contacting me regarding a newborn session, I will send you a PDF file which will give you all the information you need for scheduling your newborn photoshoot. In a nutshell, it is best to photograph your baby before s/he reaches the age of 10 days old as s/he will go through a growth spurt after that age. It is also important to photograph a newborn during the morning as this is when they sleep best. The session will take place in the comfort of your own home, but I do ask you designate an area in your home large enough for me to set-up my equipment. It is also ideal that you turn the heat up in this specific room a few degrees to ensure your baby is warm and comfortable during the session and s/he stays asleep for the duration of the shoot. Before I arrive, I ask that you feed your baby about 15-30 minutes prior to myself arriving, and have him/her in only a diaper, and wrapped in a warm blanket.
